APPEARANCE
During the Great War, Stricture had the typical Seeker body, but with silver, blue, and gold colours. After the Great Upgrade (or Downgrade, as many spiteful Decepticons such as Stricture call it), Stricture got a new body with two tri-folding wings that are fully articulate. Still sporting his colours and customary sense of style, Stricture likes the new look of the form, but resents that it's half the size of his former body and glory.
PROFILE
Stricture has a penchant for the theatrics, and because of his teleportation ability, he enjoys appearing out of nowhere when meeting new people for the first time. A very vain individual, Stricture will flirt with anyone, be it male, female, or alien. He finds comfort in the fact that there are many who admit attraction to him, and particularly enjoys the fact that he can still catch Misery’s attention despite her affiliation with Xyston and Depth Charge. Stricture was also the first person to ever see Misery make a joke or laugh. He’s not the dumb soldier, and is in fact very intelligent when it comes to logical reasoning.
His first few posts were with a command unit that fought in the Battle of Two Tides. The Battle of Two Tides was the turning point when the Decepticons took control of Cybertron and its outlaying borders. After the Autobots were on the run, one of Stricture’s later posts led him to Hiiva, where he managed to teleport inside the Autobot base to begin the Decepticon invasion.
Approximately 2 million years into the war, Stricture’s unit was sent to an Autobot encampment in a neighbouring system. The Autobots, led by Ultra Magnus, were able to outflank the Decepticons and win the battle. After being the only survivor of his former unit, Stricture was shunned by the other Decepticons as being a deserter. Despite the accusations, Stricture had fought until the end, teleporting around the battlefield trying to find his fallen brothers. He was later placed on the invoice for available soldiers when Misery selected Stricture and invited him to interview. (Here Comes the Snake)
Stricture became Misery’s second in command, serving as her right hand. He spent the next 2 million years of the Great War accompanying her as part of her squadron upon the Cenotaph. After following an escaping Autobot ship to the planet In-A-Gadda, the Cenotaph shot down the Autobot ship and circled the planet to land. Stricture was with Baratosis and Engraver when they began their search for the downed ship. Upon locating it, Stricture relayed to Taciturn that the Autobots had appeared to set up an encampment within the remains of an abandoned city.
Unbeknownst to the Decepticons and Autobots at the time, the Gaddans only inhabited the city for ceremonial purposes during a quarterly period of their year. The ceremonial city was home to the X Server, a planet-bound, emerald-coloured nebula-creature that had evolved as the god of the Gaddans. When the Autobot ship spiraled out of control through the planet’s atmosphere, the ship had collided with the X Server and trapped it within the ship’s computer unintentionally. The Gaddans attacked the Autobots out of anger for their ruined city, but were driven away by the return firepower. Stricture, Baratosis, and Engraver arrived on the Autobot crash site after the X Server had tapped into the ship’s mainframe and already picked off the Autobot survivors.
Leading the three into the ship to investigate, they were immediately attacked by the X Server, which left Baratosis and Engraver badly injured. Unable to reach them due to the energy shield they had been trapped in, the badly wounded Stricture teleported back to the Cenotaph where he received immediate medical care from Syntagma. Misery then contacted the Decepticon Guardian Gunslight while Stricture slept in stasis. Once Gunslight met up with the Cenotaph, he and Misery went planet side to reclaim Baratosis and Engraver, whereupon they faced the X Server in his newly built body that he had used to download his core in order to escape the ship’s computer (a download that Misery had intently watched complete itself on the monitors). After being occasionally joined by Xyston (the aforementioned X Server) during the Great War, Stricture parted ways with the squadron when the Decepticon ranks were decommissioned after the Decepticon surrender to the Autobot Air Raid. Stricture and his wing mate Taciturn took up residence within the Predacon Home satellite and purchased a posterra property. The two, featuring a new, unfounded fascination with xeno-music (particularly of Terran origin), began hosting nightly parties within their flat with the intent of keeping up appearances, as well as subtly keeping connections with their fellow downgraded Decepticons.
Following the kidnap and supposed murder of Xyston, Misery underwent the Decepticon-sanctioned mimic of the Protoform Project and became immortal. She once again called upon Stricture and Taciturn to accompany her in her revenge. (Ascension)
ABILITIES
Stricture possesses the ability to teleport up to five kilometers; however, everything outside of one kilometer loses accuracy. His weapon of choice is the railgun, and depending upon whether he’s shooting energon or anything else determines the amount of power he wields.
WEAKNESSES
Stricture learned early on that if he’s not concentrating, he runs the risk of leaving limbs behind when teleporting. It has since become one of his favourite methods of dismembering Autobots, but he still must exercise caution, less he be ripped apart as well. If an Autobot were to break his concentration, they might be able to make him slip.
